Needless to say no crank signal no go. As for your oil leak it could be your timing case seal (seals crank pulley to timing case) or the camshaft position sensor, which lives behind the gold coloured plate on the front of the engine. Wash the area down and take the car for a drive (20 to 30k). Check the area when you return. Have fun! more than

The reason most other fuelie vehicles won't run without the crank sensor, is that it usually IS used as the only crank position reference. The F150 is a different story. His is a 1997 F-250HD 351W non California and OBD-1. FYI that hole is for a magnetic probe to check timing.

Had timing belt done,Changed camshaft/ crankshaft sensors,Changed VVT Valve,Oil Changed (5/40 Fully Syn) and new filter. Car runs better but code still on. I have cleared it with OBD and Hard
